The Adventures of Layla and Arie is one of our new favorite books. Hooray Heroes has created a book that contains so many fun adventures and can be personalized just for twins. Let’s talk about what makes this book so special and why your twins need it in their collection.
We are huge fans of personalization and Hooray Heroes absolutely delivered when it comes to this. Starting with the very first part where you can actually type in both of the names. There is something so special about a book that has your name in it, don’t you agree? You feel like it was written just for you and I have no doubt that the girls feel this way every time we read it.
Next, you can choose features so your child’s skin tone and gender are exactly like their own. This goes all the way down to eye color, hair type and even those smaller details like glasses and freckles. The twins kept saying mama they have pigtails like me and I thought that was so adorable that they noticed that detail.
The next option is to choose who you want to be the narrator. You can choose between mom or dad and put their name in the book as well.
The final option is to choose up to 15 different small stories. Each story has the twins going on a new fun adventure together. They feel like they are actually going on these adventures, because they look like the characters in the book and the characters have their names.
A few examples of our favorite story titles include Playground Fun, Sing and Dance, Beach Adventures, Cookies and Best Day Ever. Each story also rhymes and my girls are huge fans of rhyming books. One of my favorite quotes from the book is in the very beginning where it says: “I stood on the rooftops, shouting out loud, Telling the world that I was so proud. And since then, Arie and Layla, I have to say, My pride has doubled every single day.” I just love how it talks about being proud to be their parent because I truly feel so blessed to be their mom every single day.
Once you have chosen your top 15 stories to add to the book, then there is an option to add a personalized dedication. This is something special that you want to add to their book that is written by you. The dedication you choose is on the first page when you open the book and it is something they will appreciate when they get older. This is a book that will stick around for a long time because of how special it will be to them. There is even an option to use dedication’s that are provided. So, if for any reason you can’t come up with the words, you can always use the ones that have been provided.
