Today is February 14th, 2021. While many are celebrating Valentine’s Day and spreading love to family and friends, there is another exciting event happening in Daytona Beach, Florida. This event is the Daytona 500. The Daytona 500 is a 500-mile-long NASCAR Cup Series motor race that is held annually. This is a career defining race and I am looking forward to seeing who will be victorious this year.
Cars week is the action-packed week that leads up to the Daytona 500. This year we are thrilled to be celebrating with Pixar and Disney. There are all new products for 2021 Cars Week! These are inspired by your favorite real-life NASCAR drivers and iconic Disney and Pixar’s Cars characters like Lightning McQueen and Mater. Get ready for hours of playtime!
Let’s get right into the fun! This year we are highlighting some really awesome products. The girls were so excited opening this box from Pixar. There were 8 products that came in our box. Ready to see what we got? Check everything out below including links to each product as well:
This Car Wash Playset allows the car to change colors as it goes through the wash! How cool is that! This was definitely one of the girls favorite toys they received. Lighting McQueen goes down lots of dirty roads and can get pretty messy. Now he can go to the Dinoco Car Wash. We love the details that were put into this! Get ready for lots of interactive and imaginary play!
These fun cars offer two paint jobs in one! They change color when they are dipped in water and are based on favorite characters from Disney and Pixar Cars movies. The girls had a blast watching the colors change as they went from warm water to cold water.

Exciting Disney and Pixar’s Cars NASCAR die-cast vehicles are ready to race right out of the pack! These are exciting Cars characters with special designs that have been inspired by NASCAR. Lightning McQueen, Jackson Storm, Mater, Luigi and Guido, are joined by some of the coolest and notable NASCAR drivers including Chase Elliot, Austin Dillon, William Byron, Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, and Danny Suarez will be transformed into die-cast in coming months. Keep an eye out for new product drops rolling out throughout the year.
Cars Tumbler from Simple Modern:
This tumbler for kids is from one of our favorite shops. We currently own tumblers from this brand and these come highly recommended by our family.
Lightning McQueen Light-Up Bubble Wand:
If your kid loves Lightning McQueen then they will be so excited about this Light-Up Bubble Wand from Shop Disney. Flip the switch to light-up the Piston Cup winner and send a stream of bubbles out the back, or flip the switch in the opposite direction for lights only. This was definitely one of the girls favorite products they received. My kids have always loved bubbles and then Shop Disney combined that with Lightning McQueen and something that lights up and they created a winning toy for sure! This is something that will provide hours of fun!
Lightning McQueen Remote Control Vehicle:
Ka-Chow! Hit the speedway with Lightning McQueen and this 6” radio controlled vehicle from the world of Cars. Features full-function control and ”steering wheel” handset. The girls fought over this toy so if you have more than one kid I highly recommend getting one per kid. They love that the car can go left to right and forward and backward. They play with this for hours and truly have a blast.
Mater and Lightning McQueen team-up to track down runaway tractors in this all-new Little Golden Book featuring all of your favorite characters from Disney/Pixar Cars. This is such a cute read for ages 3-7 years old.
With some many amazing products, there is sure to be something for everyone. We can’t get enough of Disney and Pixar’s Cars. The girls absolutely love Mater and Lightning McQueen. Thanks to brands like Mattel, Shop Disney, Tervis, Simple Modern and Pixar, this year’s Cars Week was a huge success.
