Hi! I am Megan Stephen, mother to three amazing little girls. Arie and Layla are identical twins and two years old. Kaila is five years old and recently started Kindergarten. I have been married to Jhurell Stephen for eight years on October 24th. We went to elementary school together and reconnected through Facebook many years later. We have been living in Arizona for four years now.
Real Life
I could talk to you all day about my girls, but diving into who I am gives me anxiety. I just turned 32 years old. I have gone from a full-time working mom to a stay at home mom. Talk about a huge shift!
My life used to consist of adult conversation and meeting deadlines and now I am singing along to YouTube songs, building block towers, putting on pretend makeup and eating pretend food.
I made that sound like it was a bad switch, but honestly I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with the girls. Just the other day I was watching Kaila interact with the twins and I wanted to freeze that moment. She was reading them a story and they were hanging off her every word. It is the simple moments like these that remind me how blessed I am to stay home with them.
My Why
So here I am, starting a blog because I really feel like women today could use some positive energy, encouragement and someone who they can relate to when they feel alone. I will talk to you about my challenges and my triumphs. I will show you my favorite products and places to shop. I will talk to you about faith. I will throw in fashion, fun and basically whatever inspires me. I am so excited to start this journey and I feel so thankful to have had so much support thus far.
