How Can Parents Make Back To School Fun & Exciting?

I can’t believe it’s already time to go back to school! What an incredible summer we had, enjoying the sunshine and creating amazing memories together. Kaila is bummed that summer has come and gone, but also really happy about being back to school. We are making back-to-school fun and exciting with Ring Pop. We snagged a Ring Pop Party Pack because I knew Kaila would think it was fun to start the school year off with a craft. I wanted to help build Kaila’s confidence for school and create a fun learning atmosphere as well. Not only did we do a fun craft together, we also used the Ring Pop Party Pack to create a rewards system too!

Looking For A Fun & Affordable Back to School Craft?

This craft can be done by anyone and is a great way to spend time with your kids and create some memories together. Kaila and I put together an adorable Ring Pop craft that looks just like her. Here’s what you will need:

A Ring Pop- There is a flavor and color for everyone to enjoy! Kaila chose Strawberry.

Googly Eyes for the eyes on the Ring Pop

Gemstones for the nose on the Ring Pop

Pipe Cleaners for the hair on the Ring Pop

Head to the end of the blog for step-by-step instructions for this adorable Ring Pop craft.

Make Back To School Exciting

While I love crafting with Kaila and having fun, school is here and I need to mix it up to help her enjoy learning. One way that I am helping her with this is adding a Ring Pop reward when she achieves her school goals. She just started third grade and that can be a little overwhelming.

Using Ring Pop As A Reward System For Learning

Kaila is already getting tested in class with new spelling words. I bought her colorful flashcards so we could write her spelling words on them. I even got her a really fun pencil case that we are using for flashcard storage. With Kaila, it seems like making things cute and colorful helps her be more interested in learning. I got this Ring Pop Party Pack, and I found the cutest confetti cup and filled it with her favorite treat. She recently got all her spelling words right, so she got to grab one of the individual Ring Pop candies from her cup. I love that I can help make learning exciting for her and that she can gain confidence in the process.

We may not know what this year will hold for us as we go back to school, but we can keep learning fun and exciting for our kids. All we need to do is mix things up and add some colorful fun. Snagging some of these delicious Ring Pop treats isn’t a bad idea either, right? Whether you want to bond together with this craft or help make school exciting for your kids, you can use Ring Pop just like we did. Hanging out as a family is always better with Ring Pop! Here’s to an incredible school year and to helping our kids accomplish their goals!

How To Create A Fun Ring Pop That Looks Like You

Step 1: Let your kids open up their Ring Pop and have a taste! We need to get the Ring Pop wet so it will be sticky so the pieces from the craft will stay on it.

Step 2: Pick out a set of googly eyes and a gemstone to add to your Ring Pop craft. Place them where you want them on your Ring Pop.

Step 3: Grab the color hair you want to have from your pipe cleaners. Kaila cut hers and folded it so that it represented her curly puffs in her hair. You can create your hair however you would like.

There you have it! An adorable and easy craft that you can do at home using a Ring Pop.

Until Next Time,

XOXO Meg
