If I were to ask you if your pets were members of your family, what would your answer be? If you asked me, I would say…Absolutely! I would tell you that I call our dog, Ghost, my son. He is like one of my children and I would not have it any other way. Some may say that he is spoiled, but I would say that he is deeply loved and appreciated. I want him to have comfort when he sleeps and when he travels. His happiness is important to me. If you have ever seen pictures of him, then you know he loves to smile. That adorable smile is one of my favorite things to see because I truly believe it means he is a happy little boy.

We decided to check out the Petmate Plastic Kennel. There are a few things you should know before you order a kennel for your pet. It is very important to make sure you measure them properly and weigh them. First, measure your dog from the top of their head to the floor. Then you will measure from the tip of their nose to the base of their tail. The kennel height should be 3-4 inches longer and taller than your pet. This will allow them to easily lie all the way down, turn around and stand up inside the kennel. After this, you will need to weigh your pet. Once you have done these steps you will easily be able to find the right kennel for your dog. Based on all of Ghost’s measurements we ended up getting him a 36” kennel.

A plastic kennel is a very safe choice for your pet. Ghost is a member of the family and his safety is my priority. I need to know that his home is strong and sturdy. I need to know that he will be comfortable and happy when we leave the house.

Dogs have a natural instinct to be snug and comfortable in their space. There are multiple size options to ensure you find the perfect fit for your pet. Petmate engineers their plastic kennels to last. They resist rust, offer a cozy environment and can stand up to weather. It is also ideal for traveling. The kennel is fully compliant with air and highway travel so they can be comfortable as they ride in the car with you. The plastic kennel meets all of my requirements and I can have peace of mind whether we leave the house for a few hours or take Ghost on an adventure with the rest of the family.

Ghost is a member of our family. He is the best little brother to the girls and we could not imagine life without him. He deserves to be comfortable and happy in his space. That is why we got him this plastic kennel from Petmate. By choosing this plastic kennel, I am choosing peace of mind and happiness for myself and Ghost. What more could a dog mom want? Head to Petmate to learn more about the benefits of a plastic kennel and find the perfect kennel for your family member.

Until next time,

XOXO Meg
